We began our day touring the beautifully quaint hill town Orvieto. After a quick walk through town, we headed inside the Cathedral. There were ornate banners and frescoes throughout, and an amazing marble sculpture. We also learned about the Eucharistic miracle. After a quick lunch and a little free time to climb the clock tower, we rode back down the hill and boarded the bus. We made the short trip to L’Abbadia to see the fresco of St. Norbert. It was a quick visit, and then it was back on the bus, headed toward Rome, our final destination. We arrived early in the evening, and Fr. Sal led a small group on a walking tour of some of the famous landmarks.
