Hello,my name is Mark Knapp and I am a freshmen at St. Norbert College. I graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 2007. My interest include soccer, music, and hanging out with my friends. I decided to come to SNC because of the great campus and my brother’s experience while attending school here. I hope that by sharing my experiences with you about my time at SNC will help you understand why SNC is the place to be.

LONG WEEKEND

10/16/07 at 12:16:56 pm

Well we just had long weekend last week and it was much needed break from school. I had two exams on Wednesday before I could leave for long weekend. One was in Math and the other in Political Science. After my exams on Wednesday I went home for a day and then left to go visit my brother at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. It was a fun weekend and it was the first time I got to see my brother since I left for school.

So far I have been glad that I chose to come to SNC. Classes are more difficult and take more work than in High School, but it’s not that bad. I am still not sure what I want to major in yet, but I have found a lot of things that have interested me so far. My favorite part of my college experience at SNC to this point is the people here. I have met tons of cool people and already have many new friends and have had many fun times. I was accepted to be a part of a service team to go to Philadelphia to help with homelessness there. I am really excited about this opportunity to serve others. I hope this year will be full of good experiences to help me grow as a person and become a part of this great college community.
