I am a second year student here at SNC double majoring in Business Administration and Economics. I am 19 years old and from the small town of Marinette, WI which I love. I am the second of four kids in my family, which is one of the most important things in my life along with my faith. I am overly involved with many activities on and off campus (including TRIPS, Research Fellowship, Diversity Events, Tutoring, and much much more!) Besides classes and volunteering I also have 2 internships and a part time job. Busy, busy! (and maybe crazy some!!) When I have free time I love to play sports, travel and scrapbook. I am also a huge movie buff and just love relaxing in my pj's!

Time Flies

04/16/08 at 08:24:15 pm

As the semester comes closer and closer to an end, it seems like more and more decisions arise and the more and more stressful things can get. I pretty much have my schedule set, and it looks like I am back on track to graduate this winter and start a full time position in January.

Yikes. Although I am excited to graduate and move on to all these bigger and better things, the closer it gets the more real and scary it all becomes. I am taking summer classes plus traveling a lot so my summer will fly by. That leaves pretty much just one semester left at SNC. Time flies!

It all hit me the other day that I should probably start updating my resume and cover letter and start preparing for interviews and all that jazz. I have heard many different opinions on how early to start applying for jobs. I probably will start this summer. Hopefully, with the economy how it is, I will be able to find something right away, perhaps where I am interning. Fingers crossed!

Well, off to work on our group accounting project. I think the “home” work is one thing I won’t miss when I am done…but then again it just gets replaced with “work” work!
