I am a second year student here at SNC double majoring in Business Administration and Economics. I am 19 years old and from the small town of Marinette, WI which I love. I am the second of four kids in my family, which is one of the most important things in my life along with my faith. I am overly involved with many activities on and off campus (including TRIPS, Research Fellowship, Diversity Events, Tutoring, and much much more!) Besides classes and volunteering I also have 2 internships and a part time job. Busy, busy! (and maybe crazy some!!) When I have free time I love to play sports, travel and scrapbook. I am also a huge movie buff and just love relaxing in my pj's!

Looking Ahead...

03/31/08 at 08:19:54 pm

Alright, so advisement is tomorrow. The big day to choose what will consume most of my time for over three months. And, it’s looking like I might have a pretty tough three months. Corporate finance, seminar, econometrics?! Should be an interesting semester…:)

Not only that but I will be taking summer classes too. I took a J-Term class and loved it so will definitely continue the one class thing this summer. It’s nice to be able to focus more time on one or two areas rather than four or five. I would definitely recommend the summer or J-Term experience for at least one class. It’s a good experience.

So not only will my summer be consumed with homework and readings but work as well. But its not all bad…I have plenty of weekend vacations planned! And to bid farewell to summer my family and I are going to New York City! I am pretty excited for that to end my summer and start what is looking to be one crazy semester!

Back from Break!

Welcome to my blog!

With Spring Break two weeks behind me now, it is still difficult getting back into the swing of things. Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense when think about it since I was up for 8am every day over break anyways to head to work. But I guess being able to step outside a normal routine, and then having to jump back in after time off takes some adjusting. Not to mention routine sometimes seems to be a large aspect of my schedule these days.

With advisement tomorrow and registration starting the next, I find myself unsure of where I want to go with classes and school and everything. While my original plan was to graduate this January, some setbacks with registration and policy kind of trumped me. So while I am usually an overly organized person, I find myself at a halt. What I had been planning on is not going to happen. Now its time for changes and choices. And while sometimes I find myself liking stability and knowing what is going to happen, maybe a little uncertainty is good in life, right?

If everything in life were predictable, and if everything in life were planned out...wouldn't that get quite boring?? Everything happens for a reason. It is always fun to find out what those reasons are! :)
