I am 20 years old and from a family of 7 including myself. I have an older sister who got her undergraduate from Marquette and her masters from Nebraska. I have two younger brothers who are a freshman and senior in high school in Houston, Texas. I have a younger sister who is in the 2nd grade. I also have two parents. My whole family is living in Houston right now. At school I love hanging out with friends, relaxing, watching movies, playing and watching all sports, working out, and shopping. I work for the admissions office and the event staff at SNC. When I am not at SNC (which is not very often since I lived here this summer) I love to spend as much time with my family as possible. I hope you enjoy hearing about my year at SNC.

Junior Year Over!

05/15/08 at 04:06:32 pm

Hey Guys! I can't believe that it is finally summer. It is so weird that I
am finally a SENIOR! I feel like I just started college and graduated from
high school. Once you get to SNC you will probably feel the same way. The
time you spend here will be the best four years of your life, and will fly by
incredibly quickly!

Well since I wrote to ya'll last (which I feel like was a long time ago) a lot
has been going on. I had the last week of classes and exam the last two
weeks. That means it was a crazy busy week of projects, papers,
presentations, and exams. In my last week of classes I had a debate with two
other group members in my Media Ethics class. We had to debate four different
topics regarding privacy versus another group of students. It ended up going
really well and my group and I got an "A" so I was really happy about that! I
also had a research paper due in my Social Geography class, and an exam in my
Leadership class the last week of classes. After classes were done with I had
exam week. This semester for exam week I had a project presentation in my
leadership class to discuss the group project my six other classmates and I
completed. We ended up getting an "A" on that as well so I was really happy
about that. I had an exam on Wednesday in my Social Geography class which was
not too hard. Then I had an exam on Friday in my Classical Sociological
Theory class which was incredibly difficult. I think I did O.K. on the exam
but it was a full two hour exam of all essays and short answers. It was
really tough. After exams I ended up going to SNC's graduation which was
really nice. My boyfriend is graduating this year so I went to see him and
his friends all graduate. It was a really nice ceremony.

I am just glad the summer is finally here and I can relax a bit. This summer
I will be going home to Houston for a little bit because my brother is
graduating from high school. Then I am coming back up to De Pere for three
weeks to move into my new house and work at the admissions office. Then after
the three weeks I am going to Cape Cod for two weeks. My family has a cottage
there, and my dad's whole family lives in MA so we always go there every
summer. After Cape Cod I will go to College Station, TX. until August to help
my family move into our new house. It will be a busy summer full of
traveling, but I am excited because I think it will be really fun!

Alright, that's all I have for now. I think I will blogging over the summer
so I am sure I will talk to ya'll soon! Take care :)
