I am 20 years old and from a family of 7 including myself. I have an older sister who got her undergraduate from Marquette and her masters from Nebraska. I have two younger brothers who are a freshman and senior in high school in Houston, Texas. I have a younger sister who is in the 2nd grade. I also have two parents. My whole family is living in Houston right now. At school I love hanging out with friends, relaxing, watching movies, playing and watching all sports, working out, and shopping. I work for the admissions office and the event staff at SNC. When I am not at SNC (which is not very often since I lived here this summer) I love to spend as much time with my family as possible. I hope you enjoy hearing about my year at SNC.

Christmas is Coming!

12/10/07 at 04:20:32 pm

Hey All! I hope everyone is doing awesome and getting excited for Christmas
to come. I know I am! Since I wrote last I have been very busy. In the past
month I have had about five papers due, had four tests, and I have had two
projects to work on. On top of that I am working and coaching basketball
which has made it even more busy.

Coaching basketball is going great. My JV team is 3-0 and we have our fourth
game coming up soon. Work is going well too, but it makes everything so much
more busy. This week is the last week of class so it is the week of papers,
projects, and tests. I have been so busy! Next week is exam week which means
I have a lot of studying to do this weekend and next week. I only have three
exams, one of my classes does not have a final exam which is really nice. I
have an exam in American Broadcasting on Monday, and Computer Applications in
Business on Tuesday, and Writing in the Media on Thursday. It is really nice
that I only have one exam per day. Once exams are over it will be really
nice!

I fly home the next day, which is Friday December 14th. Once I am home I will
finally get to relax and not have to worry about having to do homework at all.
At SNC we get five weeks off from school for winter break. I am going home
for the first three weeks, and then I coming back on January 6th to work for
the admissions office and coach basketball. It is always really nice to have
a long break, but by the end of the break everyone is really ready to get back
to school and in the swing of things again.

While I am at home in Houston I will mostly just be spending time with my
family. I have two sisters and two brothers so we all end up spending a lot
of time together. It is really warm there so we will probably go swimming,
play basketball, work out, and just lounge around and hang out. I think a lot
of my break will be spent packing. I just found out a couple weeks ago that
my family is moving again due to a job change in my family. Luckily the move
will only be moving about an hour and half away to College Station, Texas. My
family won't move until the summer but I think I will have to help pack while
I am at home. UGH! I hate packing so much!

Well that's all I have for now. I will talk to you ya'll later after exams
(if I'm still alive!) Take care :)
