I am 20 years old and from a family of 7 including myself. I have an older sister who got her undergraduate from Marquette and her masters from Nebraska. I have two younger brothers who are a freshman and senior in high school in Houston, Texas. I have a younger sister who is in the 2nd grade. I also have two parents. My whole family is living in Houston right now. At school I love hanging out with friends, relaxing, watching movies, playing and watching all sports, working out, and shopping. I work for the admissions office and the event staff at SNC. When I am not at SNC (which is not very often since I lived here this summer) I love to spend as much time with my family as possible. I hope you enjoy hearing about my year at SNC.

Can't wait for break!!!!

11/15/07 at 01:58:34 pm

Hey Guys! Since I wrote last a lot has been going on. I am really busy with
school and classes. The semester is ending in about 4 weeks, and we have
Thanksgiving break in only a couple of days. This is usually the busiest time
of the semester for students. Out of my four classes (Writing in the Media,
American Broadcasting, Computer and Business Applications, and Persuasion) I
have had 2 exams, I have had two papers due, and I have a research paper due
throughout the past 3 weeks. It's a lot to get done before I go home to
Houston on Tuesday. It will be really nice to have a little break and go home
for about 5 days. (It won't be too bad to be in weather that is about 50
degrees warmer either!)

It is not only school that is keeping me busy. Along with classes, studying
for tests, and writing papers I have been really busy working. I have a lot
of work to get done for the admissions office. I am a student coordinator for
one of our admission counselors, Rachel Gonnering. I have a lot of work that
I need to get done for her before Christmas break comes. On top of that, this
week is the start of Notre Dame Academy's girls basketball season. We had
tryouts this week, and our first day of practice starts today. Coaching
basketball is making my life extremely busy and hectic, but I love it! I have
never really coached any sport before, but I played volleyball, basketball,
and softball all through high school.

Other than school, work, and coaching basketball I have been looking forward
to going home for a couple days for Thanksgiving Break. It will be really
nice to go home, spend time with my family, and obviously eat until I get
sick. After Thanksgiving break students only have about 3 more weeks of
classes and then it is already Christmas break. At SNC we get 5 weeks off of
school for winter break. I am planning on going home for 3 weeks and then I
will come back to school for the last 2 weeks of break to coach and work.

That's all I have for now. I'll write back again soon!
