Well lets see here, my name is Caitlin Whitney I am 21 and I am from Crystal Lake, IL which is north of Chicago. I am a cheerleader on campus and a waitress at the Abbey Bar. My twin sister and I love St. Norbert we couldn't have asked for a better school to fall in our lap. The funny story is that Meredith and I came on a football-recruiting day with a buddy and to make a long story short. Mere and I dropped the other schools we were going to and fell in love with SNC!! The staff, people and community couldn't be greater when looking for a college!

Two Weeks til Spring Break!!!

Ok so I'm back.... finally, it has been crazy as always. My schedule is nuts this semester, my past couple of semesters I’ve had relatively the same schedule just with different classes in the time slots, but now that I have to take specific classes that are only offered at specific times, it totally screws up everything. Not to mention I had to re-plan the bus trip for the admissions office which was MAJORLY stressful since my schedule does not leave that much room during the day for work time. On top of that I started bar tending regularly at a local bar, along with still being a waitress there and then the cheerleading season came to an end as well.
On a different note I recently turned 21 but unfortunately it's not what you think, I was ridiculously sick and instead of going out, ("for my first time EVER" ;-D ) I took Nyquil and was in bed by 10... but I did get a really cute Build-A-Bear from Ryan!!! What really sucked though was the fact that my Dad came up to see us for our birthday and I didn't even get to really go out with him, oh well that just means he'll have to come back up :-) It was great though because three of my really good buddies and one of their roommates came to visit Meredith and I for this past weekend and a group of like 20 of us got all dolled up and went to olive garden to celebrate!! All in all it was fun even if I am still getting over this cold.... LAME.
But my hopes are high because a couple of my roommates and I, plus another girl from Stevens Point (five total) are going to Panama City Beach for Spring Break and staying a condo right on the beach!!! I guess it's a good thing we are all sick now (that's the one thing about roommates if one gets sick... everyone gets sick) because then none of us will be sick for that experience :-) we are just counting down the days until the road trip! However, we are all busy because the professors make sure to give you homework up the butt until Spring Break. I have numerous assignments, case studies, an exam and a couple essays all to be crammed into these next couple of weeks.... it should be pretty enjoyable!
